Individual waste prevention measures are always useful. However, they are much more effective when integrated into a national circular economy roadmap, which is a coordinated strategy involving different stakeholders across priority sectors.

The African Circular Economy Network Foundation (ACEN Foundation) aims to accelerate the just transition to an inclusive, circular and sustainable economy in Africa, which is in line with global climate change ambitions and the UN Sustainable Development Goals and promotes an economy within social and planetary boundaries. As such, the ACEN Foundation assist African governments in creating their national circular economy roadmaps. Piotr Barczak, Circular Economy Program Manager, will present this process based on the two countries, Rwanda and Ghana.
