Webinar Poster

Join us for our second webinar supporting exchange on EPR in the Southeast Asia region, where we will exchange on experiences between countries on operationalising EPR. This will include topics such as contracting, collection vs. recycling, fee setting, and PRO structure. This webinar is for public and private sector stakeholders active on EPR in the region (PROs, waste management companies, policymakers).
The webinar will be a mixture of inputs on the topic from international experts and local implementers, followed by a discussion and exchange with participants, featuring:

-    Input on Do’s and Don’ts in EPR implementation (Oeko-Institut, cyclos)
-    Example of implementation from a PRO in Malaysia (Alex Lim, MAREA)
-     Inclusion of the informal sector on the example of Vietnam (Fanny Quertamp)
-    Discussion and exchange between participants

The dialogue series is part of the project “Collaborative Action for Single-Use Plastic Prevention in Southeast Asia (CAP SEA)” which is part of global project “Export Initiative Environmental Protection (ExI)” commissioned by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN).
